Plummy, slightly confected, a bit simple. A musty note

Still very young and dense on the nose. Dark brooding fruit with a touch of sweetness. Intense and quite blocky on the palate

Started in a funky state. Mushroom and reduced brown sugar. Angular and hard. Decanting helped a lot. The reduction blew off and the brown sugar faded. Became much more floral with rose oil and Asian 5 spice. Much better aromatics once it came to room temp and opened with o2. The tight core opened and gained some weight and flesh yet remained bright and vibrant with red and black currant. Nice Burg.
