Given the opening action I expected a jammy heavy wine. Could not have been more wrong. Cool, sleek, and elegant. Full of black cherry, anise, and roasted meat flavored, with a pretty floral note just before the finish. Pure delight. Not a surprise considering it was made by Cathy Corison. Glad I have a few left.

Very well balanced Cab Franc. Medium bodied, good acidity, lower alcohol. Blackberry, spicy berry, brambly, anise ... Yum!
