Lovely #châteauneuf#chateauneufdupape on the nose and on the palate it almost seems like a Pinot Noir. It has an amazing lightness and floral quality to it. Lavender and potpourri. Meaty and spicy on the palate. Good acidity with a pinch of VA showing. This is a good wine to taste for all of those who say they don’t like #Grenache#Garnacha

Splendidly spiced and peppery. Grenache ruling the roost. Lavender, Rosemary, juicy red fruit, spiced plum, lightly minty. Very good. Soft, but sweet red fruit, earthy, spiced and pungent spiced. Splendid stuff

Is it immoral to drink a CNDP on its fruit? Then I am gleefully immoral. Big berry fruit and a hint of meat in the nose, sweet cherry and sweet oak, bit of cough syrup, cocoa note at the end.

Color is still youthful deep purple on the core with blood at the edges. Though Fruit has given way to earth and game. Structure and tannins are no longer holding this up... it's just magic (stored in the same slot, unmoved, for 18 years).
