Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

Nice Chianti, opening up quickly. Kermit Lynch import. Plenty of fruit, but also grippy tannins.

Unusually zaftig for a Kermit selection, but the ripeness does not impede on the lovely fruit. A little big and lush for the purists in the room.

Rather ripe for a #chianticlassico licorice and alcohol and cherry jam, has the typical dryness of #sangiovese Notes of grapefruit on the nose. Not totally clean

Pleasant roundness & ripeness typical of the vintage. Simmering plums sprinkled with earthiness.

A juicy plummy CC with a nice forward attack. Easy drinking

At first, lots of ripe fruit; rather generous. After a few hours open: leather, herbs (rosemary) and dusty earthy notes. Leaner and more classic-tasting. Begs for pork chop, potatoes, and funghi!

Amazing with delfina's duck ragout.

Riper than i would expect
