Reminds me of Halloween with the forward scent of ripe plum licorice and baking spice. Strangely lingers with a hint of sauteed mushrooms. Bold and full-bodied, this heavy drinker weighs in at 15% abv. A generous dose of licorice and foresty cherries and plums enchant the palate. Take this big boy in slowly.

Red berries, currants, blackberries, cinnamon, pepper, dark spice on the finish. The wine is smooth and has a lot going on with it. While it doesn't all tie in tidily, it's interesting to drink and sort of charming in its own way. Drank while watching A Good Year, which I find ironic because this movie is about a French winery. We're a little off theme...

Zinfandel blend. Oaky and mildly earthy nose. Dry, full bodied , and mildly acidic. Lots of red fruits on the palate. Got 97 points at Sunset International Wine Competition. Overstated IMO.

Cherry, plum, cinnamon and spice. Silky tannins, a bit of acidity and really easy to drink right out of the bottle. This is a great wine to enjoy in the fall while pumpkin bread baking is in the oven. Buy some
