It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a delicious one.

Inky in color with a short reddish rim.

Fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, plums, sweet cherries, chocolates, cedar, light caramel, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco light cola and black pepper.

Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black cherries, plums, licorice, vanilla, cola, cedar, black coffee, chocolates, tobacco, earth, beef jerky and peppercorn.

Nice finish with fine grained tannins and red cherries.

This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is already drinking very nicely. Showing nice complexity with a nice, soft mouthfeel.

Very true to the Terroir, without too much alcohol, which I liked.

Well balance and interesting. Fruit forward, rich and extracted.

Will age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years. Showing nice potential to become a 94+ point wine.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after an hour in a decanter.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food. Will pair nicely with BBQ Meats. I paired it with Camembert cheese and prosciutto.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Oakville and Rutherford, were aged in French (mostly) and American oak barrels for 18 months.

14.2% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$50.

Insanely consistent bottling. Medium to deep ruby red with a purplish hue. Layered nose with nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla and dark cherries. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) with a medium plus to full body. Complex and balanced with silky notes of cinnamon, vanilla, red cherries and a little black berries. Long and lingering finish. Very well put together and excellent QPR. Drink till 2024.

First time trying the 2013 Flora Spring Cabernet Sauvignon and we were thoroughly surprised. Super dark and intense ruby red. Classic Napa and oaky nose with notes of baking spices like nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla as well as some blackberries and dark cherries. Moderate tannins (7/10) with a moderate plus body. Very similar on the palate, very extracted and fruit forward. Coated with red and dark fruits. Some light nutmeg and other baking spice undertone. Long finish. Great QPR we will definitely pick up a few bottles! Drink till 2024.

One of my all time favorite wineries. (Probably because an old and well aged Trilogy is what got me hooked on wine!) Dark and purple. Slow moving legs. Smells of heavenly blackberries and currant...slight hint of leather. Tasted beautifully of vanilla oak, cinnamon and cola. Loved it as always.
