The tannins are very soft and the oak and alcohol are very balanced and integrated with the whole of the wine. Can age. Drink now until 2030

My first American Antinori, the name of the wine is the combination of the the words Antinori and California. This CS from the lovely 2012 vintage is delicious and elegant. It has a deep purple color, lovely aromas of black current, blueberries, spice, mint, chocolate and cherries, full elegant body, with smooth round tannins, lively balanced acidity and a long pleasant finish. Elegant, well crafted and surprisingly approachable and enjoyable despite the young age. My score 88, drink to 2022
