Ruby in color with a wide brick rim.

Nice nose of black currants, plums, bell pepper, oak, licorice, cloves, dark chocolates, herbs, spices, earth, wet leaves, vegetables, dark coffee, tobacco leaf, vinaigrette and black pepper.

Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, black currants, coffee, oak, cloves, light vanilla, vegetables, tobacco, black pepper, spices, dark chocolates and bitter herbs.

Medium plus on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a nice surprise. This 6 year old Cabernet Sauvignon is drinking very nicely now. Nicely balanced and spicy, with nice complexity. Drinks way better than 2 years ago.

Didn't take long to open up, and gets earthier as it does. Tannins show up after an hour.

Wine Enthusiasts 89 points.

Would pair nicely with BBQ Meats.

Aged for 15 months in oak barrels.

14% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$15.

Fruit forward, gets better as it has time to breathe. Nice wine for the price at Costco

Well balanced Argentinian Cabernet. Peppery and leather hints with a pleasant nose. Not very jammy but bold in other aspects. Received this bottle as a taster from a local distributor.

Got it at Costco. Excellent wine. Balanced, good body. I would like more oak, but all in all...

This week my Friday's Cabernet fix is from Argentina.

Beautiful dark ruby in color with a wide brick /purple rim.

Very pronounced dark fruits on the nose, with blackberries, sweet plums, cherries, vanilla, leather, wood, licorice, spices, herbs, graphite, green pepper, cola, asparagus and peppercorn.

Medium to full-bodied, and smooth, with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Fruity on the palate with black currants, blackberries, blueberries, earth, oak, vanilla, cola, pencil lead, forest floor, vegetables, green peppers, bitter herbs and peppercorn.

Nice length on the finish with firm, yet round tannins and black pepper.

This Argentinian Malbec is very enjoyable. Very nicely balanced with nice complexity.

Right out of the bottle, it smells and tastes like a Californian Cabernet.
As it opens up (an hour later), it gets bigger tannins, and some more of the vegetable notes that I would expect from a South American Cabernet.

Drinking nicely now, but I'm going to leave my other bottle one additional year to see how it matures.

Good by itself, and great with BBQ Meats or roasted chicken dishes.

Grapes are hand harvested, and aged for 15 months in Oak barrels.

Packs some power, but thought was lacking balance.

Very approachable Argentinian Cabernet Sauvignon. Plush aromas of dark cherry, black currant and dried rose petals. Same fruits on the pallet with hints of balsamic vinegar and pencil shavings. Touch of spice on the long finish. Medium plus body and silky tannins. Great value! Revisited in June 2022. Same notes above apply.
