New World (Cali)/ decadent style: fairly oxidized rusty hued dark yellow color w/oak dominated nose, coconut, butterscotch, dried orange rind, marmalade, matchsticks, vanillin, some yellow orchard fruit. Fat, viscous, rich, lumbering on palate, oak influenced flavors really dominating… full bodied and impressive length.
