Ripe dark cherries, cassis, wild herbs and licorice. Great acidity to stand up to the gripping tannins and body.

This was an amazing wine from Cali that I thought for sure Id hung on for far too long...However, this wine was still rockin!! Fruit still present amidst leather, tobacco, dried mint leaves, acid med + , tannins silky and med alcohol...color still a med purple, but not opaque...What a wine , built for the ages!

Chalky, punishing tannins only adding to the ability for this to be aged. Eucalyptus and mint. A dirty chalky spiciness throughout. Some surprising racy acidity. This is the real deal for old world style Napa Cabernet.

Dark ruby in color with a short purplish rim.
Bold on the nose with vanilla, cherries, blackberries, black currants, licorice, mint, chocolates, smoke, black pepper, spices and leather.
Full-bodied with medium acidity and great legs.
Fruity and dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, chocolates, tobacco, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices and peppercorn.
Long finish with firm, angular tannins and black pepper.
A Great Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California. Great by itself or with BBQ meats. I paired it with lamb chops.
Elegant, balanced, complex and very enjoyable. Needs 2 hours to open up, and a few more years in the bottle, will do it justice.
