Blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby red color with aromas of red berry fruits and perfumed pepper spice. On the palate flavors of black fruits, cacao, tobacco and spicy herbal notes. Lively acidity, fine grainy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, cacao and spicy oak. Nice!

Very much alive and still carrying some grip - let’s see how it opens up.

Amazing dark fruit for such a mature bottle. Iron and earth.

Juicy red plum, Cassis, vanilla / tobacco, mahogany, leather / a little bit fruit-forward, but well-structured and amazing QPR

Although not the best of vintages, this bottle developed wonderfully, showing its age beautifully while still maintaining freshness. Excellent complexity with dried red currants, damp earth, tea leaves, soft tannins and a silky and velvety texture with great length.

51% Merlot, 44% Cab Sauvignon 3% Petite Verdot 2% Cab Franc
Well rounded and slightly dusty tannins provide lovely support for the fruit and minerality. Tobacco, violet, cassis and hints of mocha and toast on a long finish.

Deep ruby, very elegant, fruity and beautifully balanced. Really showing well now - a lovely, elegant Bordeaux that shows how great de Pez is becoming. It's on a roll

Drunk from a magnum and therefore surprisingly approachable, nice nose full of black currents, earthiness, coffee, and oak, medium body, round tannins, good acidity, the mid body is missing a bit of depth and it is more on the medium side than the full body style. Yet pleasant and enjoyable. My score 88, drink to 2021
