Surprisingly dark. Aromas of dark cherry, juniper berry, pine forest. The relatively high alcohol is very well integrated. Tannins are practically non-existent. Impeccably balanced and of-a-piece. Vinous. Paired very well with pecan/parsley, oven-roasted wild salmon, sautéed mushrooms w/thyme and smashed potatoes with full fat Greek yogurt. Less balanced after some air and above cellar temp. Better cool.
