Sunshine lemon color, aromas of tropical, stone and citrus fruits with mineral notes, aged 10 months in 28% new oak. On the palate flavors of pineapple, peach and lemon citrus wrapped in smooth spicy tones. Long finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, notes of flinty mineral and savory citrus character. Nice!

Pre-Thanksgiving dinner wine, nice lemon notes with balanced oak use, not obtrusive.

The 2019 Chardonnay (Russian River) is a terrific appellation-level wine. Bright and finely cut, the 2019 is so well-balanced. Lemon peel and white flowers grace this enticing Chardonnay from Hartford. Bright acids and floral accents round out the finish nicely. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2021)

Advice appreciated.
Choosing the selections for a btg list... to choose
Something most folks know and have had and can get most places Or to choose the selections that you haven’t had or don’t see or don’t even know about.
It’s hard to choose for the guest when they are the ones who are choosing. I feel the best a wine director can do is ask and care more than those choosing

Tasted many times with my wifey. At $24 it’s a great value. Rich, fleshy nose and palate. Notes of lemon curd and apricot. The oak is quite prominent and somewhat wins the battle over the acid. This open-knit presentation finishes soft and round. Hartford do some higher-end chards which are great, but at nearly 3x of this, why go there...

Vinous nailed this in terms of description and rating. At $25, this is a low rent proposition. For their entry-level chard, this is very impressive. The shorthand that defines this wine is burgundy. This has become our house white.
