Not a large bold Cab, mild tannins, a little bitter. Fruity.

Perhaps because I've been used to "heavy" Cabernets, this wine came across as a little light at first. However, within a few minutes, it got better and better. It has a very nice balance and finish. This wine is not well known, but I highly recommend it.

Dark, full flavors of tobacco. Fruit overwhelmed. More like a Malbec than Cab. T/W $23.99

Lighter cab, more like a Tempranillo than a true cab. Dry, but very light bodied. Preferred the 2011 vintage; they are very different wines from each other.

Lovely, balanced wine. A bit more dried blackberry/currant than sometimes found in a big, dry Cab. This makes it a juicy Cab, with lots of spiciness and a nice, solid finish. Good nose of spice & berries going in as well.

Liked by many but the oak was a bit overwhelming for me. Dark fruits with touch of menthol. Tons of tobacco and toast.

Upfront dark fruits with mixed tart red notes later. Tons of oak influence - toffee, smoke, mocha. Soft tannins.
