Jack London Vineyard Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

At 19 years it shows an energetic maturity. Meaty and earthy more like a syrah. Unique and interesting. Went perfect with beef stroganoff.

Ripe, jammy and evolved. But nice nonetheless.

Was hoping to love this. Muted flavors, oily mouthfeel. Never felt like it opened up. Introverted.

Developed in a very positive way showing elegance and freshness, despite being obviously concentrated and framed by toasty, fully integrated oak treatment. It does lack a serious backbone for further cellaring but it's drinking perfectly at present. A wonderful, under the radar wine.

Boom! Classic

A juicy mountain cab with commensurate structure and acidity. Not so brooding and as previous vintages. Well made, but maybe too much baby fat right now to be of much interest.

Still alive and kicking, surprisingly ripe and fruity .

Rustic and still tannic. Called 89 Santa Cruz Mts Cab.

Interesting juice. Called Bordeaux.

Still a bit tight, surprisingly. Bountiful cassis, dried blueberry and cinnamon. Brightly acidic for 2007. Medium tannin structure.
