Tasted the 2008 in Dec 2016, was very nice and showed some improvement with being 8 years old. Not a knockout, as it had a bit too much tannins, but had some good dark fruit flavors.

Good food wine. Enjoyed very much with Irish organic salmon. Nice fruit with acidity to balance the oil in the fish. (Enjoyed the rest of the bottle after the meal!)

Medicinal quality, slightly bitter...not really a fan. Sat a day with air and improved.
