1 person found it helpfulOct 18th, 2015I haven't had great luck with inexpensive Amarone's. The DOCG labeling requires one of the most labor intensive, expensive red wine types. But this glass yielded beautiful fruit with an elegant finish. Since they dry the grapes prior to pressing, cheaper Amarone's can have a raisin flavor. There was none here. Purchased at Trader Joe's for under $20 ... This bottle is a steal! Look for it and give it a try. An amazing find. Cheers!!
