Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Very easy to drink. I taste licorice and black berries. I decanted and let sit for 30 minutes. Had it with caldo de res! I'm very pleasantly surprised.

Hints of Cab franc pepper in the nose. Smoky and tasty but fairly linear and restrained. Juicy fruit on a medium body. You could do much much worse for the price.

Not a great representation of the great 2012 vintage but still a solid wine

Big black fruit on the nose. Black jam, pepper. Best way to describe-- has all those 'things' I look for in a big California Napa Cab.
