Red and black fruits - earthy and herbal. Barb thought old rose petals. A tarry nuance. Eric Guido said “drop dead gorgeous “ which is quite the accolade. Great with fettuccine at home. Love these Rossos from a good vintage like 2019. Made for pasta and pizza. Good value. Had another bottle 13 weeks later on 3rd November 2023 with consistent notes. Loved it. Raised the score to 91 points. The ideal food wine with enough fruit to have with just cheese. Can go either way. Polished tannins. Short term not for extended cellaring

Classic young Montalcino. Cherry, leather, tobacco, licorice, savory balsamic notes and somewhat resinous aromas yet displaying excellent freshness.

One of my favorites in Tuscany. I assume this wine tastes better in Italy! It was also waaayyyyy too young!

This has a tart cherry nose that could easily be confused with Oregon Pinot. On the palate typical young Sangiovese tannins tell a different story. Big fan of this producer, had to purchase this in order to get some of the 2010 Brunello riserva which wont get touched for a few decades :)
