Bolgheri Rosso
Plum. So much plum! Long legs. Very dry and a bit chalky. Licorice? Good wine.

1 person found it helpfulOct 3rd, 2015Lots and lots of acidity. Lots of sand in the sand timer for this one... open it again in like 3-4 years and it should show its true colours. Right now, it's good, but not a great example of what I picture a Bolgheri blend to be.

Mar 25th, 2021What a nice Bolgheri! Initially acidic but in the mid palate a nice fruity, nearly sweet touch.

Dec 23rd, 2020Chewy, leathery, with rustic tannins and good acidity. The fruit (plums, cassis) is not in the forefront. A good, authentic red - though I would not place it in Italy blind (crazy blend of CS, Syrah, Sangiovese, Merlot & Terlodego).
