Bolgheri Rosso

Plum. So much plum! Long legs. Very dry and a bit chalky. Licorice? Good wine.

Good, but nothing outstanding.

Lots and lots of acidity. Lots of sand in the sand timer for this one... open it again in like 3-4 years and it should show its true colours. Right now, it's good, but not a great example of what I picture a Bolgheri blend to be.

Plenty of toasty oak pretty good fruit

Black cherry | Licorice | Ripe Pomegranate - 30% Cabernet, 30% Sangiovese. 20% Merlot, 10% Teroldego, 10% Syrah

Big in sulfitos però delicado al paladar.

Complexity. A bit animal flavor. Concentrated. Wine lovers like. @460(2300), Piccola, 210325

What a nice Bolgheri! Initially acidic but in the mid palate a nice fruity, nearly sweet touch.

Tim’s Wine Market. $32

Chewy, leathery, with rustic tannins and good acidity. The fruit (plums, cassis) is not in the forefront. A good, authentic red - though I would not place it in Italy blind (crazy blend of CS, Syrah, Sangiovese, Merlot & Terlodego).
