A blend of Sangiovese 30%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30%, Merlot 20%, Syrah 10%, and Teroldego 10%, aged for 12 months in oak. Deep Ruby with aromas of red berry fruit and herb spice. On the palate flavors of raspberry and tart cherry with pepper and tobacco notes. Medium finish, soft chewy tannins, lively acidity, good balance, nice value.

Who knew Teroldego grew in Bolgheri?! What a delicious and unique blend! Plush tannins from Merlot and Teroldego, solid cherry fruit and acidity from Sangiovese.

Blackberry, runny cheese, leather, cocoa powder and cardamom on the nose. Same on palate. Nice smooth tannins. Complex. A bit more fruit up front and this would've slayed me.
