Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
Lots of tannins. Serviceable as an everyday wine.

Jul 13th, 2017Not a terrible wine, but far too acidic for my taste. Lovely hints of wood and fruit, but overpowered by the acidity.

Feb 2nd, 2017Nose of black olives and roasted meat, which reminds me more of Syrah than Cabernet. Nice mix of savory elements and dark fruit on the palate, with the former becoming more prominent in the finish. Could use a little more depth on the mid-palate but, all in all, a fair value for $45.

Dec 21st, 2016Pure Cabernet fruit with a little Rutherford dust and a little spice, supported by fine tannins. A very solid effort.

Dec 9th, 2016Very nice, classically styled Napa cab. Ripe but not hot and fairly well balanced. Reminiscent of a Mike Smith entry level cab, which is high praise.
