2011 drinking in 2020. Nicely balanced, though needs to breath for an hour to open up...otherwise its a bit thin. Notes of cherry and dark fruit are dominated by leather earthy and tobacco primary aromas. Decent value, but showing signs of being past peak at 9yrs. 8.8/3.8

Earthy and on the dry side. Fruit flavors of blackberry and mild raspberry are mellowed more than expected. Acidity is a bit elevated, but tannins are low. Finish holds some blackberry, plum and mellow oak throughout. Overall I expected more flavor out of the bottle, but the smooth Bordeaux texture is retained.

Intense blackberry nose followed by dark fruits and a somewhat tight tannic finish. Fill my glass again!

Wow, great wine at a fantastic price. Adding this one to the regular rotation.

Classic Bordeaux blend. The merlot gives it some black currant, and graphite. Cab Franc adds an herbal tone.

A really nice Bordeaux, dark berry, tobacco and pepper. Smooth from start to finish, a nice robust flavor and feel. Picked up for an awesome price 2 yrs ago...$6 on sale but doubt I'll find that again.

Dark ruby red color with very nice aromas of black fruits, tobacco, and chocolate. Full-bodied and dry taste of dark cherry, chocolate, and peppery on the palate. Firm texture, nice acidity, but a bit rough tannins, and medium length. Prefer 2010 vintage.

Earth, dirt, and a hint of smoke. A gem for the weekday at home.
