About 50/50 Merlot - Cabernet Franc, deep Ruby red color with aromas of red fruits, floral and spicy oak notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and plum with notes of cacao, oak and spice. Firm drying tannins, medium savory finish, ending with fruit, spice and slight earthy notes. Organic!

Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruit, smoke and spicy notes, blend of 58% Merlot and 42% Cabernet Franc. On the palate flavors of dark cherries, berries and licorice with herbs and cedar tones. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, cacao, tobacco and earthy mineral character. Nice! Will benefit from short-term aging. Organic!

Somewhere between rustic and high-stung it’s a silk cranberry peasant blouse of a wine. Leading you just enough one way, just enough the other. And then there are those pencil lead notes because someone besides me is making notes. Probably.

Just opened a 2018. Nice Pomerol nose with a classic Bordeaux finish. A very nice wine that is a great value. Recommend

Big nose of chocolate, espresso, dark fruit, and green bell pepper. Tight on the palate with lots of tannin on the finish. 70% Merlot, 30% Cab Franc. Nose was more enticing than the palate.

Terrific pomerol. Deep, rich, intense fruit. Tannins are very prominent but I don't mind a bit.
