This wine is the 2012 Domaine Cherrier et Fils Sancere. This is from the Loire Valley Amigny Cher, France.

On the nose there is lime, grapefruit, peach, herbaceous, grass, wet stone and minerality.

On the palate there is lime, grapefruit, white peach, a generous amount of herbaceousness, wet stone and steely minerality.

This wine is medium bodied with medium+ acidity and a medium + to long citrus mineral finish. Spring is here but not just yet. There is still crispness in the air and snow flakes. Please, continued health and stay safe. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

Flabby and elusive flavor. Decent aroma. BTG at restaurant so could be storage issue.

Lemongrass, wet rocks. Grapefruit and some orange zest. Strong, crisp minerality. Floral tones and a chalky finish - not bracingly so, but classic Sancerre nonetheless. Underrated, especially for a fresh vintage!

Classic in style, if not a touch on the tame side compared to most Sancerre. Citrus and light florals on the nose, chalky minerality, lemons, and a quiet dryness that accompanies a nice Crottin well.

Lots of limey citrus notes and sleek wet stones. Very refreshing.

Pretty unremarkable. Tight aggressive acid, grassy, lemony. Short finish. Not to complex.
