Like most Rosso I've experienced, this shows the immediate splash of fruit. After an hour in the decanter this screams of earth and leather. Black cherry, oak, barrel tannin, and solid acidity guide it to a lengthy finish.

A good earthy Sangiovese. Not the most amazing I've had but it's decent. It improved after letting it breathe for a while. Went well with roasted pork chops.

サンジョヴェーゼらしい、淵まで黒々と濃いガーネット。黒い果実と赤い果実のバランスのとれたアロマ。スモーキーさ少し。ロッソだが、割としっかりとしたボディあり。

Apr 6th, 2014Nice $62 bottle (restaurant pricing) of Sangiovese. As expected, more "Old World" style than "New World," some delicious earthiness, but enough fruit to satisfy New World tastes. Not austere but good acid balance. Medium-full body. Nice.
