Toasty oak with black fruits and liquorice. The palate latent and brooding promising a big future. A little early to be drinking this at 8 years with projected drinking windows going up to another 20 years. I love Grampians Shiraz - this is more dried black Cherry than my favourite, Mt Langhi Ghiran - the latter more pepper/spice and Northern Rhone in style. Just a personal preference.

Perfect drop for open that bottle night! The fruit still vibrant and this wine has years in it yet! Superb

Nice beefy Shiraz, a bit heavy for my taste, but good acid, spice and fruit leather.

Always a glorious Australian Shiraz - spicy depth and generous blue to black fruit.

Still buzzing with life from fine integrated tannins and bright fresh qcidity. Red fruit mixed with darker bramble Fruit. Fine boned, power without weight. Long. And rather good.

Absolutely beautiful. And holds special memories. Pepper, gaminess, peppermint, weighty. Love.

Bit of time in bottle has integrated the oak. Ripe, balanced, and very delicious for $60.

Not as big as I was expecting, but still an incredibly good wine. Well balanced and perfectly matched with an eye fillet.
