Windy Oaks Estate
Estate Wild Yeast Pinot Noir
I'm thinking I should have waited on this one. It was fairly shut down. Second day had developed a perfume. Strawberry and lighter red fruits. Some savory and bitter elements. Never really gets going in the mid palate or finish, but there are hints of things hiding.

Apr 1st, 2018Santa Cruz Mountains meets Burgundy, best of both worlds. Dry, nice fruit, with restraint. Good amount of tannins, about as much oak as I like. Tasted four different Windy Oaks Pinot, this one came out ahead.
