Sweet citrus, sl. bruised yellow peach, quince, pineapple, verbena, citrus blossoms, cream, crushed rock. Gorgeous color, explosive aromatics, layered and concentrated palate. There's a creaminess to the palate and the wine holds it's acidity well. Textural and structured, reminded me of Savennieres.

To me, this is about as good as Sauvignon Blanc gets. More richness and complexity than the top Sancerres. Plus, the 2005 vintage is outstanding.

Wow!!!! Didn't know Sauvignon Blanc could live 35+ years! Very aromatic with asparagus and dill on the nose. All primary fruit has given way to pretty vegetable characteristics. This is cerebral, thought provoking stuff!
