Had this over a year ago, this is a new batch. Rich and creamy Blanc de Blanc with fruit from the villages of Avize and Oger. Fine mousse and bubble flow. Peach and sweet Apple with smoky and yeasty notes adding some lemon zest. Nice balance with toasty nutty notes, great mouthfeel on lingering finish, ending with mineral and yeasty tang. Nice! Grab one for Valentine’s Day.

So beautifully toasty and rich on a hot day. Love, can’t wait to visit.

Golden & red apple driven. Cider, bruised pear, nice finesse.

If Sunday had a bottle to represent it this Prestige would be set on repeat. So good.

A lovely aperitif. All AVIZE grand cru, all stainless, based on 2012 with 2011 reserves. Creamy and rich enough to have on its own, with chalky cut for days!

More birthday Champagne! This all Avize Chardonnay is aged four years on the lees and has gran cru character to spare. Rich brioche and shocking chalk- all in one little bottle! This was ridiculously good with sushi!

This seemed a little too freshly disgorged, but should be great in another month. The back label lists the "date of first disgorgement" as October 14, but a laser inscription on the bottle has the date May 11th 2015. The wine was still pretty fantastic, as was Cinnamon's petrale sole!
