Clear (filtered) light bodied (watery) honeydewy peachy citrusy and slightly sweet sparkling sake. Mio could mean beautiful cherry blossom... but 澪 on the bottle simply means cool, breezy, delightful...

Mio Sparkling #Sake by Sho Chiku Bai/Takara Shuzo from Kyoto, Japan. It's pretty sweet with 12.6 residual sugar and ABV 5%. Think of this as the moscato of sake with fruity rice notes with a citrusy finish. Slightly sweet and slightly fizzy. Not the best sparkling sake by far as Poochie-Poochie is a far superior product but almost twice the price. Good for the masses and the moscato lovers. #sake #sommelier #japan #sparkling
