Powerful rich colour and looks awesome poured into a champagne glass turned a tight beaded purple with all the bubbles. A rich nose promising of plum pudding and berry. A really strong rich berry flavour delivered by bubbles across the tongue. Not for the faint hearted you must appreciate strength.

We always say we should drink more of this style when we open a bottle! This is a multi vintage and 'Heinz 57' varietal mix too but it works well through good winemaking, including clever use of oak to balance but not dominate. Fab wine. (Disgorged July 2014).

Solero method. Amazing depth and fruit. Bought at source, consumed in the UK.

Powerful red sparkling. The fortified component really shows through on the nose. My first sparkling cab/merlot

A stunning, stunning wine. Aged in our cellar for about 15 years, this was spectacular. Rich, mellow, savoury, integrated tannins, a hint of tawny port, a dash of blood and iron. Huge length with very subtle bubbles. An incredible wine as an aperitif while cooking big steaks in a hot BBQ.
