Grignolino d'Asti Grignolino

Thick tannins on a light body. Rose petal, Potting soul. Minerality. Wildflowers.

Very aromatic. Dried flowers. Herbs. Bright light bodied palate. Cherry. Medium tannin.

Piedmont tasting. Starts rather dry, not too acidic, earthy mushrooms

A little funky, a lot of fresh Piedmont fruit. Dig it.

herbs. nice tannins give some tart acid, in a good way. great translucent red-brown brick color. lighter body. paired surprisingly well with our red kale and turkey salad. 7th ave liquors.

Brown, brick color. Medium to light bodied, good acid, bright, light tannins, pepper, some earth. Good chilled. From 7th Avenue Liquors.

A little sour for my liking, still nice

Tart cherry, refreshing, light, dry.

Well the palate has some nice qualities and its bright and cheerful with red fruit. The nose has some serious flaws that don't blow off. Kind of acrid mouse Droppings. Maybe a blend of Brett and somethign else. Still its good if you don't smell it.

Exploring the Grignolino: Darker with more round, ripe fruit on the palate. This tannins were less sharp here, compared to other Griggs. Still, a good selection and a very good wine to pair with dark meat roast bird.
