My own personal (late) Open the Bottle night. I enjoyed this stunning classic Bordeaux. Surprised that the deep red color was still predominant despite the age. Faint red fruit on the nose. Lush red cherries on the palate. Subtle earthen quality. Ends with coffee notes followed by a lengthy finish. Given the age, I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
