Stunning: was really hoping this would hold up & it exceeded my expectations! Long time lover of Priorat - this is master class with purely delineated nose of black and red fruits, rich & ripe w/such impressive freshness. Coming from the insanely hot 03 vintage - could not believe the freshness (also considering age). Alongside the distinct vein of Llicorella schisty minerality, there was black & white pepper, aromatic & lifted cedar, forest leaves, licorice & worn leather. On the palate beautiful harmony between downright juicy acidity & firm, grippy sappy tannins with gobs of black & red fruits with minerals spliced throughout. Long finish - didn’t want the ride to end.
