Infinitely better than then the last bottle I had a few years ago. Crazy good. @ChateauIsbel

Amazing dark & mid current/cassis, integration, evolution, soft; tobacco, leather, earth-crushed rocks, stone, top soil, wilted flowers. Beautiful acidity, great structure, balance and wire to wire finish.

The 01 is in a perfect place. This is one of the better sub $40 wines to lay down and drink with impunity when you’re feeling Bordeaux

I could drink d’aiguilhe every day. Such a rich and pure wine. Merlot and cab franc at its best. Way to go Comtes von Nipperneig

Drank 5/22/21. First of recent 6 bottle purchase.

Nose of plum. Baking spice, earth and black cherry. Flavors are well balanced, with black fruits, earth, tobacco, and a hint of spice. Medium plus finish. Quite enjoyable now, but should coast for the next 5-10 years.

Excellent. Ripe and modern with dark red fruits, dried earth and spice. I’ve said it a million times but under $30 this is one of the best world class wines on the market. It competes with $50-100 st emilions. Better than anything you can find in California under $50

Drank 12/16/19. Ok with lamb kebabs. The roasted peppers are not an ideal pairing, but still, an excellent wine.

Classic right bank nose of plums, cassis, with some earth, and black pepper notes. Nice, black fruit on the palate, eith plumb, blackberry, cassis, and tobacco. Medium to firm tannins integrate well with the fruit. Long, dry finish, dominated by black fruit flavors. An excellent wine that displays the richness of the vintage.

Modern with significant oak influence, but well done for the style and a great value. Still early in it’s development.
