Rosso del Palazzino Toscana IGT Sangiovese blend

This is a great little Rosso simply missing the fiasco. Sparked my interest at a tasting. Thought I'd try it alone instead of behind 30 others.

Very dense crimson cherry in the glass. Slightly rosie with a mildly damp soil nose. The palate is big and round with a minutely, dry, tannic finish. Red licorice, wild red berry with some herb if you look for it.

Crowd pleaser. Friendly and straightforward. Opened 10/13/15

3/4 Sangiovese, 1/4 Cabernet. A bit rustic but in all the right ways.

Leather and currants on the nose. Velvety at first taste. I got a lot of plum. Good body in the wine. I really enjoyed it.

Really nice Chianti - a little darker with a lot tobacco, forest floor, and dried cherry

Hits your tongue like juice. Quickly shows your mouth who’s boss.

Lighter bodied, higher acidity and moderate tannins. Sour cherry and red raspberry flavors, with some menthol and barnyard aromas. On its own, it’s OK, and it really shows well with food.

割としっかり目の果実味なのに、酸やタンニン、雰囲気はまろやか。
この値段でこの出来は素晴らしい。
