Nice but a little heavier fruit than I expected.

I rarely include flawed bottles but this was too rare a specimen to not document. Just barely corked, but the gamey berry funk of cool climate reds made it worth a sniff or two. Then, down the drain...

Very rare red. Dark rich and supple, not overpowering. Black fruits. Some nice acidity.

Fruit scent, slight cherry? Rich flavor with a smooth finish. Great red.

Small production; 170 cases made. Crazy good nose engulfed with dark, sour cherries, dark mulch, wet leaves, and crushed herbs. The color is almost black; stains the glass like I’ve never seen before. Unfortunately, the acidity is landing very, very tart. The sourness overpowers absolutely everything. Cool tasting, though! Amazing people that run the vineyard and winery. Make you feel like you’re at home.
