Dark ruby in color with a nice brick rim.

On the nose light blueberries, black currants, cooked cherries, dried fruits, raisins, cedar, light vanilla, earth, vegetables, dark coffee, dark chocolates, leather, tobacco leaf, smoke, cola, pencil lead, black pepper, wet leaves and black tea. Wonderful and complex.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with black currants, raspberries, ripened blueberries, raisins, dried figs, tobacco, earth, spices, wood, vanilla, cloves, coffee, vinaigrette, light vegetables, green olives and herbs.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and cranberries.

This is a wonderful 17 year old Red Blend from Yakima Valley. Showing so much complexity, with nice balance and mouthfeel. Elegant, delicious, mature, and tangy on the finish.

Thank you Paul for sharing.

Needs time to open up properly and show the complexity, and great all by itself.

Wine Enthusiasts 89 points.

I had the 2015 vintage a year ago and it was a delicious treat as well, although not as complex.

This is a wine that needs to be had with good friends and talked about. No need to mess it up with food.

A blend of Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.

14.1% alcohol by volume.

95 points.

$60 (current vintage).

This wine is outstanding. Scott G is making some of the best wines out of Washington right now. Cab Sauv, Cab Franc combo, Yakima Valley - 96 WA. Smoked fig, casis liqueur, mushroom, vanilla, Bordeaux structured, with a style beckoning the Napa fanatic. Not a lot of wines getting consistent 96 critiques for $60.

Would mistake this for an old world wine. Has notes like a fine graves wine including burning smokey ember and tar intermixed with cassis and plum. Fruit takes a back away to structure here.

These guys never sease to impress! The 2013 in my opinion is even better than their previous 96pt 2012. Absolute heaven in the nose; espresso, graphite, vanilla bean, amd dried cloves. The pallet is very generously layered exhibiting a plethora of mulled red and black berries, black plum, cocoa, nutmeg, and kirsch; all structured by ample, rich mouthfeel and a lingering feminine finish. Washington, you've done it again!

Wow! Powerful aromatics of graphite, ripe blueberries, and plums. Plenty of black fruits with spices, coffee and mouth filling chewy tannins. Too bad this is my last bottle. It tastes like it could be good for a few more years.

Excellent wine.. How does this guy keep doing this?! Big body and even bigger backbone.. 25% cab franc shines through with some green pepper, structured tannins, ripe plum, blackberry and lasting finish.
