One of a flight of five 2009 Premier Cru Vosne Romanee .Terroir and winemaking do make a difference. Hard to choose but definite differences . All fine wines. And all from just two vineyards.

GL Bertagna tasting 10/17/17. Spicy and liquorice on nose that sends wild and color more dark Ruby. But palate seemed closed off and tight and medium finish. Needs time. The 2012 more opened and still needs time. More red fruit notes but still prominent spice notes. Save score.

Really great nose almost graham cracker-y, With some earthier spices. I don't think the producer is exceptional but as one of my first serious wines from Vosne it has definitely made me want to try more.

Super rich I. Color and aroma. A mighty fine bottle of wine. Had to get off of wine #666 I have to many superstitions that I do just to get out of the house everyday!
