Nose is black cherry, plum, thyme, lavender, black pepper, and a touch of smoke. Pretty complex and inviting.
Palate opens with those black cherry/kirsch notes and then transitions to dried green herbs and medium acidity. Tannins are smooth and lend just enough dryness to keep it balanced. Good length with lingering plum skin.
Great little Rhone red with delicious approachable fruit and some nice spice subtlety. Where others at this price point (€11!) are austere or overly simple, this one delivers on deliciousness and complexity. The overall structure makes it quite drinkable too.

Opened up nicely! Great fruit, well balanced with structure. Wish I had another bottle. Could last another ten years!

Very earthy wine with thick fruit overtones. Dry finish but plenty of tannins. Could age a bit. Decent value at $19.
