Cesca Vicent is a proprety located in the heart of Priorat, in the town of Gratallops. Owned and run by Francesca Vicent (better known as Cesca), a 5th generation producer, her family has farmed grapes since the 16th century. A blend of 70% Grenache, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 5% Carginan, 5% Syrah. Dark inky color with fruit, herb and spice aromas. Blackberry and Cherry flavors with leather, cacao, smoke and spice notes. Full body, soft lingering finish. Nice value.

High alcohol that needs to now off before drinking. Dark garnet purple in the glass. Alcohol on the nose until it blows off, then purple fruits, graphite, and vanilla extract. All echoed on the palate with a full mouthfeel and velvety tannins. Throws a bit of sediment. Typical Priorat mix of Old and New Worlds.
