2010 st. Em Gr. Cru. Needs more time. Very dry. Not offensive. Opened up. Very tannic. Needs food.

Color is darker than a starless night. Entirely opaque. Vegetal on the nose. Dirty licorice root. Acidity hums through pretty vibrantly, floral and tart berry fruit. Tannin comes through eventually, although subtly. The harmony is a bit off, mostly because the acid is wonky. Not bad, but too difficult in the balance department.

No idea where I got this bottle. Found it in the cellar and decided to open it. Sightly corked but drinkable. Nothing exceptional

Licorice and Black berries in the nose and on the palate. Nice finish.

Some nice herbal notes on the nose. Dusty fennel and a little barn yard and touch of mint. Doesn’t quite follow through completely in the mouth but a nice experience nevertheless. Should get more.

Meh. It's a red wine. Doesn't offend but move along folks, not much to see here. Better with some air but rather disappointed. I have another bottle so I guess I'll let it sit another 2 years and see if it gets any better. Or maybe I'll cook with it.
