On opening the bottle I was disappointed, but after a few hours it was great. This reminds me of a solid off-vintage Bordeaux. Olives, leather, pepper, a touch of spice/herbs. Just lovely for the discount price of 17 bones.

With braised short ribs. Clean fruit, a little tobacco, nice tannins and very good structure.
