Domaine Prieuré Roch
Les Hautes-Maizières Vosne-Romanée Pinot Noir
2011 vintage. Medium garnet, cloudy. On the nose, quite restrained at first glance, struck match reduction, blackberry and black fruited, some leather tan and a touch of vanilla spice. On the palate, high acidity, tart, medium body and alcohol, medium concentration. Medium finish. Although interesting, not something I would jump to drink again. Drink from 2019-2030.

Aug 17th, 2022what a nose! Spice box and bush berries, savory pumpkin. Very light robe. Way more finesse & elegance than I had expected. In the zone right now. This is really 🔥
