60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Carignan. This is a great value. Drinks like a CDR, even a Gigondas. Rich fruit, body and complexity.

L'Ameillaud's vin de Pays du Vaucluse is a medium bodied, lush red that is almost a fruit bomb. The finest value red I have discovered from France. An annual hit for 7 straight years, sometimes my wine club buys 20 or more cases. Elegant but fleshy, delivers great balance and moderate tannin. Terrific on a summer eve or in the shoulder mos either side of winter.
