Stellato Vermentino

This Vermentino delivers what I love about the grape, especially those from Sardegna. It is a smell that is more than simple salinity, it is the ocean. With flowers floating on it. The palate brings a savory smattering of citrus, along with a gentle acidity that lets us know that it is there without ripping a gash in our tongues. Seafood time.

No surprises here - down the middle Italian Vermentino. Drinks below its price point.

Thanks Alex. A beauty from Sardinia. Crisp, acidic, volcanic minerality, pear, citrus.

Great white whine alert ! .... Full bodied with exuberant tropical fruit aromas. Notes of fennel, sage and spices with a beautiful smooth mineral long finish .:.

Good but not excellent Vermentino. Citrus notes ending with very sour finish. A summer wine, good for s picnic, but not the best Vermentino out there, and pricey for Vermentino.

Luscious. Good hue. Some tropical fruit up front, lemon on finish. Really tasty.
