A little Rosé magic from Sleight of Hand on Christmas Eve. The Magicians Assistant Rosé is one of better Rosés I had recently. On the nose; pink rose petals, beautiful fragrant soft minerals, powdery chalkiness and lean fruits of; watermelon near the rhine, cherries, strawberries & pink grapefruit w/ a touch of sugar. The mouthfeel is medium, rich and a touch gluey. The palate fruits match the nose. Minerals that grip softly, just the right amount of powdery chalkiness, pink roses, watermelon Jolly rancher, perfect round acidity and an elegant, balanced finish. Merry Christmas everyone ! The Magician’s Assistant is a single-vineyard 100 percent Cabernet Franc from Blackrock vineyard. On the nose, beautiful florals-pink roses. Strawberries, cherries, black raspberries and notes of ripe melon & tangerine. On the palate; soft roses, muted strawberries, cherries, watermelon, notes of tangerine & grapefruit. Nice saline, near perfect acidity, and a round almost candied, beautiful finish. Drink all day. Beautiful Rosé.

My favorite Washington Rosé for vintage 2013 was Martin-Scott's, but since that sold out and Cairdeas' rosé sold out, this one takes the cake. Apparently there's some left. My recommendation...get some!!! Before Trey sells out. Oh...we got to taste the 2014 rosé, that one will be better.

A Cabernet franc based rose with red cherry jolly rancher fruit rose petal fruit very pretty nose. Light raspberry fruit with pretty floral notes and lovely freshness a bone dry finish long and lingering with excellent structure and length. Finish 40+ excellent

A perfect dry rose! I lean towards the dry French rose’s but have yet to find a rose better than this one. It’s made with Can franc and the only wine I’ve given a perfect 10, it is the bar for rose.
