Dark with amber rims. Looks a bit older than it should. Good nose. Notes of black fruit, cherry liqueur, rose petals, some anise and some asphalt. Nice fruit but lacking structure which is consistent for the hot vintage. Good drink but not at the level of better vintages. Drink up.

Sep 7th, 2020Dark reddish tawny. Nice nose but a bit quiet. Some red fruit, red roses, a little smoke and some cranberry. Young and simple in the mouth. Needs more age.

A great showing and yet another proof about this vintage special qualities. It's certainly evolved but still not ready as tannins still needs to soften a bit, in order for the pure and dried cherries, tar an licorice to come toward. Love this wine, and a true treat to taste vintage once more.

Floral nose with notes of red fruit, roses, earth, some spice, tree bark and a little bit of menthol. Nicely balanced in the mouth. Fruit matches structure with a pleasant finish. Still mostly primary. Needs more time to gain some complexity.
