I enjoyed this bottle with family including my great uncle Peter (my grandfather Roberts brother) who just turned 100 yesterday! He is the last Mondavi of his generation... He fought in World War II and innovated cold fermentations... He is still all there and misses the old wines of yesteryear when it was normal to find wines of 12.5 to 13.5 % Alc. Classic... He is classic. Happy birthday Peter!

2012 Vintage. I've never been a huge fan of California Chardonnays but this was really good. Not oaky, hints of pear, creamy texture. Very pleasantly surprised!

Not bad for a California chard, not as much oak or malolactic aromas as you would expect. Definitely more tropical fruit than green fruits here

Nice to see a Chard with no malo. A little thin though

2019 Vintage that is smooth and slightly buttery with notes of vanilla and light citrus.Pairs well with turkey meatballs over noodles for a casual meal. Would buy again!

The 2018 was very acidic. I could not drink more than a glass.

Subtle nose of lime, citrus, peach, and hint of chalk. Palate was refreshing but thin. Oak influence was kept to the minimum, though still detectable. Light and simple. Kind of disappointed.
I think the restaurant chilled the bottle a bit too much. Would like to try again.
